After the super success of ‘Kabir Singh’, superstar Shahid Kapoor is back once again. The talented star will be seen in the remake of hit South flick ‘Jersey.’ Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, shootings of all films have been halted. However, the actor has to wrap up the shoot in Chandigarh and return back home to Mumbai.
Today, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a glimpse of his look from his upcoming movie ‘Jersey,’ he also revealed that he misses being on the sets. In the photo, the Jab We Met actor can be seen wearing a face shield and holding a cricket bat and #Jersey sets. #imissyou,” he captioned.

The Udta Punjab actor spoke on why he said yes to Jersey. Speaking to IANS, he said, “It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey, I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderful, inspiring and personal human journey that I connected with deeply.”
The story is about a thirty-six-year-old cricketer who stopped his cricketing career ten years ago, now aiming to play for the Indian team. Apart from Shahid, the movie stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur, and an ensemble cast, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and adapted from his 2019 Tollywood film under the same title, which was portrayed by Nani.
