Shahid Kapoor has earlier revealed that he would have to smoke about 20 cigarettes and beedis a day. Now we get to know that the actor had borrowed clothes from college students to get into the skin of his character.
To get that unpolished and unglamorous look, he would borrow clothes from students of Delhi colleges. That was Shahid Kapoor’s strategy to make scenes more believable.
Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a medical aspirant turned surgeon who is an alcoholic. The story revolves as to how the protagonist goes on to a self-destructive path when his lady love has to get married to someone else.
The film Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of the film Telugu ‘Arjun Reddy’. The original film was directed by Sandeep Vanga, Kabir Singh is being directed by him as well. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are in the lead roles and have been cast opposite each other.
The makers have launched a poster yesterday and have revealed the release date of the trailer i.e. the 13th of this month. The film Kabir Singh is set to hit the theatres on the 21st of June.
