An officer, as quoted by DNA said, “In order to ensure that no eatery in our jurisdiction continues operation beyond the permissible time limit, we conduct night rounds.”
“If any eatery is found breaching the deadline of 1.30 am, we shut then down.”
“We found that the eatery (Arth) was operating beyond the permissible time limit. As a part of routine procedure, we shut the nightclub down. There was no specific complaint about it. We will continue night checks to ensure nobody breaches the deadline,” Sanjay More, the senior police inspector at the Khar Police Station said.
