Did Shah Rukh Khan confirm his next with Rajkumar Hirani? Find out
During his #AskSRK session on Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan was asked to pick between Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan. Here's what the actor picked
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. After Zero, the superstar has not signed any film and his fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement about his next film. In a question-answer session on Twitter, he might have seemingly confirmed to collaborate with ace director Rajkumar Hirani for his next.
However, during his #AskSRK interaction on Twitter on April 20, 2020, Shah Rukh Khan hinted at working with the ‘3 Idiots’ director. A Twitterati questioned the actor if he were to choose between ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ director Martin Scorsese and Inception’s mastermind Christopher Nolan.
To this, SRK picked Rajkumar Hirani over the two international directors and said, “Wow both are awesome and I have met them…but Raju apna sa lagta hai…nahi?”

To recall, Rajkumar Hirani stated that he would like to collaborate with the ‘Chennai Express’ actor, “For a long time, we have been waiting to work with him. Every time we meet, we talk about working together. At the moment, there is nothing. But, hopefully, I would write a script,” he said on the sidelines of the Jio MAMI festival.
Back in 2019, a report in Deccan Chronicle said that SRK and Rajkumar Hirani will be coming together for a project. A source close to the publication stated, “The project is on, but the details are not known. It is not clear whether the project will star Shah Rukh, or if he will back it like what Vidhu Vinod Chopra used to do for all Hirani’s projects.”
Reports also stated that Shah Rukh Khan will be making a special appearance in Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Brahmastra.’ The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. It slated to release on December 4, 2020.
