Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to contribute to PM CARES fund to fight the novel Coronavirus outbreak, netizens have targetted Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for not contributing to the PM relief fund.
The reason behind getting Shah Rukh Khan slammed on Twitter is he did not contribute a single penny to PM relief fund as of now while multiple celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Mahesh Babu, Kapil Sharma and others have donated enormous amounts fighting against Coronavirus.
There are people raising questions against Shah Rukh Khan for being silent and not offering help despite being one of the most influential celebrities of B-town. However, these allegations did no go down well with fans of SRK and they have come to his rescue and rubbishing all the baseless claim by others.
Supporting Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter, there are thousands of people have come forward and started a hashtag #StopNegativityAgainstSRK on Twitter. The fans of SRK are not only supporting the actor but also asking them to not take a dip in the pool of negativity when positivity is the world requires now.

There are fans who have been sharing information about his past donations to prove how magnanimous star Shah Rukh Khan is and how likes to do the charity silently. It is to be noted that this was not the first SRK has been targetted to such unabashed trolling.
Speaking about doing charity, SRK had earlier said, “I don’t like talking about it [charity]. A lot of people and my friends always tell me I should do photographs and stuff when I meet some people. But I don’t believe in it. It is a true thing that if I believe in a cause, I should do it silently and not use my persona as an actor to advocate that,” he had said.

When author Shefali Vaidya questioned how much the Khans – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan – had donated to PM CARES.
