Shah Rukh Khan has been busy shooting for Pathan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Reportedly, the actors will jet off to Mellorca early in October to kickstart shoots for a song sequence. Amidst the buzz about this film, SRK’s project with Atlee makes equal amount of buzz. According to the latest reports, SRK to portray double role Atlee’s directorial.
Atlee’s upcoming directorial is tentatively said to be titled as Lion, while there’s no official announcement on the same. According to a latest report by Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development informs, “SRK will have double roles in Atlee’s next. Yes, there won’t be one but two Shah Rukhs in the film. Apparently the story is designed like an Indianised Money Heist – a vigilante thriller – with SRK playing the professor leading a gang of girls. Shah Rukh will play both the father and son’s role. Yes, there will be an older SRK and a younger one, as well.”
SRK will be seen sharing screen space with Nayanthara. The project marks SRK’s first time collaboration with Atlee and Nayanthara’s third time collab after Bigil and Raja Rani. The crew apparently wrapped up the Pune schedule and the Mumbai schedule is still underway. Everything about the plot has been kept undercovers so far.
SRK’s last release was Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film couldn’t make great business at the box-office. The actor is gearing up to mark his comeback on silver screen after the gap of three years.
