COVID-19 has spread its tentacles across the globe causing a major health crisis. Celebrities across the world are donating generously to fight the new virus. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan too is doing the same in India. The actor has been at the forefront of providing help, as India fights Covid-19. He has now donated 25,000 PPE kits to frontline medical staff in Maharashtra.
As the nation is facing a shortage of medical supplies to fight COVID-19. The Badshah has donated 25,000 PPE kits to frontline healthcare workers in Maharashtra.
Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope, took to Twitter and thanked the superstar for his contribution. SRK soon responded to Tope’s tweet and said that all of us are together in this. “Thank you sir for all your help to source the kits. We are all together in this endeavour to protect ourselves and humanity. Glad to be of service. May your family & team be safe and healthy,” he tweeted.
Recently, Shah Rukh along with wife Gauri had also offered their four-storey office to treat Covid-19 patients. Apart from this, the IPL-franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner had also committed to contributing to the PM-Cares Fund and had also donated to both the Maharashtra and West Bengal Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
