Post the debacle of his last film Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has not yet officially announced his upcoming Hindi movie. There are several reports of his upcoming movie-making rounds social media but SRK has still not reacted to any. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan has purchased the rights to the Hindi remake of popular Korean film ‘A Hard Day’.

The news of SRK buying Hindi remake rights of ‘A Hard Day’ comes a few days after his production house Red Chillies Entertainment announced that they will bankroll Sanjay Mishra and Deepak Dobriyal’s film ‘Kaamyaab’.

It is likely that Shah Rukh Khan would make his comeback on the silver screen with the official adaptation of ‘A Hard Day’.

A source quoted as saying to Pinkvilla, “Shah Rukh and his team really loved watching the Korean thriller A Hard Day. So much so that he got his team to buy the Hindi adaptation rights for the film at a good price. If all goes well, his production house Red Chillies Entertainment will be making the film soon.”

The report also stated that Shah Rukh is likely to rope Sujoy Ghose as the director, who had previously directed Badla and currently helming Bob Biswas. “Mostly, he will get Sujoy Ghosh to direct the thriller for him,” added the source.

Talking about Korean film ”A Hard Day’, it is an action thriller film written and directed by Kim Seong-hun. The story of the film revolves around a homicide detective who accidentally kills a man with his car and makes efforts to hide his body with his mother’s on the day of her funeral.
