Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are currently celebrating the grand success of Kabir Singh, which was released on 21 June 2019. There is no doubt Kabir Singh is performing quite well at the Indian box office but it seems to have failed to impress the audience in Canada. Yes, Kabir Singh failed to overtake Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa’s Punjabi movie Shaada in Canada.
Kabir Singh is the only Indian film to have earned Rs 250 crore at the box office in 2019. However, it has managed to earn only $1 million in Canada. Whereas Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjabi movie Shaada has minted $1.4 million overtaking Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy.

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Avani starrer Kabir Singh is the remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda-Shalini Pandey. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is still performing quite well at the box office and likely to enter Rs 300 club soon.
According to a report published in Bollywood Life, Shahid Kapoor has been recently roped in for another Telugu remake titled Jersey and for that he has demanded Rs 40 crore. The amount Shahid Kapoor is reportedly demanding could create trouble for the makers.
