Juventus maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a scintillating brace from star man Cristiano Ronaldo against Empoli on Saturday.
This win thus extends the stay of the Serie A leaders right at the top of the table with 28 points—seven points clear of second-placed Napoli who have played a game less.
Against all expectations, it was Empoli who took the lead in the 28th minute through Francesco Caputo, slotted one from a distance of 16 yards.

Juventus equalised through a penalty by Ronaldo after the spot-kick was awarded to the Turin giants when Ismael Bennacer attempted to take down opposition captain Paulo Dybala.
Ronaldo’s second goal was a sight to behold as the Portuguese star fired one into the top corner of the net from 25 yards to hand Juventus the lead, coming from behind.
The defending champions put up a gritty show and downed the Serie B champions, who have just one win to their name in the 10 games they have played.
Ronaldo, who had failed to get off the mark for his new club since arriving from Real Madrid in the summer, now has found the net seven times in 12 matches—which also includes the four goals he scored in his last three Serie A games.
