Serie A: Juventus extend lead to 11 points with 3-0 win over Fiorentina
Italian champions Juventus stretched their lead to 11 points at the top of the Serie A table with a comfortable 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
Rodrigo Bentancur’s strike in the 31st minute after a one-two with Paulo Dybala handed the Turin giants the lead.
In the 69th minute, they score their second goal through centre-back Giorgio Chiellini with a ball that Fiorentina custodian Alban Lafont punched into the air only for the ball to land into the net.
A handball just ten minutes later enabled Cristiano Ronaldo to score his team’s third and his 10th goal in Serie A after he struck from the spot following a handball.

Juventus new signing has proved himself to be important for the Italian champions as he currently sits right at the top of the goalscorers’ chart along with Krzysztof Piatek.
Ronaldo’s 10 goals for his new club is thus a record which was achieved was Wales player John Charles way back in 1957, who too had scored 10 goals in his first 14 matches in a Juventus shirt, in his first season at the Serie A.
Gunning for their eighth consecutive Serie A trophy, Juventus looked well-placed to take it home this time as well as they have won 13 out of 14 matches they have played.
Napoli, who are currently on 29 points would aim to trim the deficit when they take on Atlanta on Monday.
