Selena Gomez was stressed ahead of her live TV performance at AMAs 2019. The singer did her first live TV performance in two years on the night of Sunday at 2019 American Music Awards. Before hitting the stage, Selena was a bundle of nerves in anxiety of her performance ahead.
Meanwhile, the singer performed for first time ever on television her latest two new singles, ‘Lose You to Love Me’ and, ‘Look at Her now.’ As per a report in Entertainment Tonight, Selena Gomez was ‘definitely nervous and stressed’ ahead of the AMAs with her two songs as the source informed to the entertainment portal.
“She put a lot of pressure on herself to give a great performance.” the source said.
In addition to this, her performance at AMAs received mixed reviews while some applauded the singer for her comeback, others criticised her performance. Selena’s close friends and her devoted fans were some who supported her and had all nice to say for her performance.
Apparently, Selena Gomez best friend Taylor Swift encouraged and loved her performance. Also, there were reports that stated Selena suffered panic attack before taking to stage of AMAs. However, that was not the case. “Was she a little panicked? Yes. But it was not a panic attack.” the source told ET.
Many of Selena’s followers took to twitter to give their feedback related to the singer’s performance of her two new songs. One wrote, “I love your performance you look so pretty, I have anxiety too and you are a warrior thank you to be a role model to me and others @selenagomez.”
