The actress cum singer decided to give the star-studded MET Gala a miss on Monday. Amongst all the others who gave this event a miss include Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, JayZ, Beyoncé, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Emilia Clarke, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Amal & George Clooney, Taraji P. Henson, Andy Cohen and Chadwick Boseman.
Just prior to the grand event, Selena Gomez posted stories on her Instagram which convey that she was busy chilling out with her pals at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
Sources say that she is currently working on her professional life and is trying to balance her personal life and public presence. Sources also say “Selena loves what she does and she loves her fans, but she doesn’t like the pressure and expectations of being under a microscope”.
The singer was seen and had performed in Coachella this year. She was there onstage with Cardi B giving the attendees a taste of their hit song Taki-Taki live.
Last year she decided to give Coachella a miss post her breakup with the Weekend. But this year she was all there singing right on stage.
Selena Gomez delivered her latest hit ‘I Can’t get enough’ sometime in the month of March sing over a giant bed.
Selena Gomez will next be seen on ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ which is set to hit the screens on the 15th of May. The film also stars Adam Driver, Chloë Sevigny and Bill Murray in the lead.
