Seema Pahwa tests positive for COVID, goes under home quarantine

Seema Pahwa becomes the latest Bollywood celebrity after Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar to test positive for the deadly Coronavirus. The actress shared a smiling selfie on her Instagram handle and informed her fans and said that she is under home quarantine.

Sharing the selfie, Seema captioned it as: “Positive hun har baat ko le kar. Dekhlo report bhi POSITIVE hi aa gai. I am covid positive 😂 14days home Corentin take care”

This comes after, her ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ co-actor Alia Bhatt also tested positive for COVID 19 last week.

On the work front, Seema has been a part of many successful movies- ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017), ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ (2017), and ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ (2020)

In 2019, she made her directorial debut with the film ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’ which was premiered at Mumbai Film Festival in 2019 followed by a theatrical release in 2021. Seema rose to prominence for her role of Badki in the popular Doordarshan soap opera Hum Log (1984-1985) She is currently awaiting the release of her two films- ‘Ye Mard Bechara’ and ‘Pagli Shaadi Go Dadi’
