John Abraham‘s Satyameva Jayate 2 gets a release date

Bollywood actor John Abraham is all set to treat his fans another action dhamaka titled ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. The movie is a sequel to the hunks hit flick of the same name that released in 2018. The upcoming action-drama will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. The film went on floors on September 20. It also features Divya Khosla in a pivotal role.

The makers have unveiled two new posters of the film and have also revealed the release date. Check out the posters shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh here:

Satyameva Jayate 2 will be directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and is slated to hit the big screens on October 2 next year.
Like the first instalment, ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, a standalone sequel, will also focus on the fight against injustice and misuse of power. The upcoming drama will also star Manoj Bajpayee and Amyra Dastur.

The first film narrated the story of a cop (Bajpayee), who has been given the task to catch a person named Vir (John), who is on a spree of killing corrupt police officers. Both Bajpayee and John fight for the same reason but they are divided by the law. The first instalment directed by Milap, released on August 15, alongside Akshay Kumar’s Gold.

Like the first instalment, ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, a standalone sequel, will also focus on the fight against injustice and misuse of power.
