In the 1950s, Gujral apprenticed with David Siqueiros and Diego Rivera (the great Mexican artist Frida Kahlo’s husband), and inspired by them, he turned to make murals in ceramic and terracotta.
Among others who paid tribute on social media were Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri,
Gujral is survived by his wife, Kiran, son, Mohit, daughter-in-law Feroze, and grandchildren.
May his soul rest in peace.
