‘Sasural Simar Ka’ Fame Ashiesh Roy Passed Away Due To Kidney Failure  

‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame, Ashiesh Roy passed away after suffering from kidney failure. The actor reportedly breathed his last at his Mumbai house. He was 54-year-old and during the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown he revealed about suffering from financial crises.

As per the media reports, Amit Bahl (Senior Joint Secretory Of CINTAA) confirmed the news and said, “Ashiesh has passed away in his house. Director Arvind Babbal called me to inform about it. We are grief-stricken. We have activated the Zonal heads at CINTAA. There is a problem in acquiring the death certificate too as he passed away at home”.

Earlier, when his heath condition got worsened he had to be shifted to the ICU. After he was admitted to the hospital, he apparently requested his friends for financial help, as the cost of hospital bills were too expensive for him.  Ashiesh Roy portrayed some popular characters in shows such as ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’, ‘Jeeni and Jiju’ to name a few.
