On 19th July 2019, we reported that we have lost yet another talented TV child artist Shivlesh Singh. The Sasural Simar Ka fame Shivlesh Singh was merely 14-years old but unfortunately, he has left for heavenly abode. He was killed on the spot when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck on the outskirts of Raipur. Shivlesh’s parents named Lekhna and Shivendra Singh were severely injured.
The final rites of Sasural Simar Ka actor Shivlesh Singh have been performed but his parents are still mourning the loss of his life and why not? Speaking to SpotboyE, the father of Shivlesh Singh broke down and said that there is no grief bigger than losing a son.
When Shivendra Singh was contacted he told that used to spend more time in Raipur. He told SpotboyE, “We had come to Bilaspur for some personal work, it was not media inteaction (contrary to reports). We were driving back home and then it was all over.”
He added, “The driver was hurt. My wife and I blanked out and when we woke up, we realised that our son was gone. I don’t know what hit him, in fact he was not even sitting in the front. We were rushed to the hospital but…” and he trailed off.
Before hanging up the phone he informed that he, his wife and the driver are currently out of danger. Blaming the truck driver, Shivendra said, “It was the truck driver’s fault and I don’t know if he has been arrested. Shivlekh was my only child.”
Shivlekh Singh has worked in serials like Sasural Simar Ka, Sankatmochan Hanuman, and Kesari Nandan. Shivlekh, a native of Janjgir-Champa district in Chhattisgarh, and his parents were living in Mumbai for the last ten years.
