Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Khichdi makes a comeback on Indian television

As the shooting of movies and TV shows are stopped owing to Coronavirus outbreak, TV channels have started airing old shows to keep people entertained during the 21-day nationwide lockdown. After ‘Mahabharat’, ‘Ramayan’, now, iconic comedy shows ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ and ‘Khichdi’ will be making a comeback on television.

The official Twitter page of STAR Bharat, tweeted about the return of the iconic shows and tweeted,“16 साल बाद, इंद्रवदन आ रहा है आप से मिलने फिर एक बार! देखिए ”साराभाई Vs साराभाई”, 6 अप्रैल से, हर-रोज़ सुबह 10 बजे, सिर्फ़ STAR भारत पर!#KhichdiwithSarabhais (Indravadan shall meet you after 16 years. Watch Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai from April 6, everyday at 10am)”

‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ featured Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak, Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan and Rupali Ganguly, The first season aired on Star One in 2004 and the second season of the show was also created recently for HotStar.

Whereas, the 2002 comedy show ‘Khichdi’ starred Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, among others and both the shows were written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. Khichdi came back with its third season on Star Plus in 2018.

‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ and ‘Khichdi’ will be aired on 10 am and 11 am respectively on STAR Bharat.
