Sara Ali Khan Gets Trolled For Recreating Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy dialogue
Sara Ali Khan recreates Alia Bhatt's popular dialogue from Gully Boy. Fans call it overacted.
Sara Ali Khan might just be only a few films old in Bollywood but she has already proved how excellent actress she is. Sara Ali Khan, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, loves to treat her fans on social media via her stunning and gorgeous photos and videos.
When Sara Ali Khan was recently asked to recreate Alia Bhatt’s popular dialogue from Gully Boy, she killed it. A video of Kedarnath actress delivering Alia Bhatt’s dialogue ‘Mere boyfriend ke saath gulu-gulu karegi toh dhoptungi na usko’ has gone viral on the internet.
In the viral video, Sara can be be seen delivering the dialogue in three different styles. You can watch the video below:
While sharing the video Bigbollywoodpage wrote a caption ”Cute ya overacting?” asking fans to decide whether she looks cute while recreating the dialogue or she looks like an overrated actress. Instagram users dropped their views in the comment section. A lot of people wrote ‘cute’ but there are certain people who think it is overacting.
For the unversed, for Gully Boy, Alia Bhat won Filmfare award for best actress for her performance in Zoya Akhtar’s film. In the film, Alia played Ranveer Singh’s love interest.
Responding to the trolling, Sara in an interview with Hindustan Times said that her character looks ugly when she cries, unlike stereotypical heroines. “I am totally fine now. Whenever you see something different, it is immediately jarring. Somewhere down the line, the archetypical heroine cries beautifully. She has to be a bit demure, coy, beautiful, aesthetic, even in her most emotional and vulnerable scenes. My character looks ugly when she cries, she is loud and aggressive because people can be that. People who are trying to put you down just for the sake of it, you shouldn’t give them the satisfaction of doing it, just move forward,” she had said.
