Sanju is now the fourth highest grossing film of all time
The audience feedback says that ‘Sanju’ is such kind of film which can still be watched in theaters after a month of its release.’Sanju’ a biopic on Sanjay Dutt’s early life journey, directed by Rajkumar Hirani has received good as well as harsh critics. It was released on 29th June 2018 and it’s been a month from the time it’s released.
The film is the fourth highest grossing film of all time with earnings of Rs 339.75 crore after a month of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the figures on Twitter. He said, “#Sanju crosses *lifetime biz* of #TigerZindaHai… Now FOURTH HIGHEST GROSSING *Hindi* film… Chasing #PK *lifetime biz* now… [Week 5] Fri 45 lakhs, Sat 87 lakhs, Sun 1.15 cr. Total: ₹ 339.75 cr. India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER.”

Considering the fact that it received critics of not showcasing several parts of Sanjay dutt’s life like his three marriages, his first daughter Trishala and the kind of bond he shared with his sisters among various other incidents apart from being victimized. Still, the film has managed to stay in cinemas beating new released films.
Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor also tried to safeguard makers of the film and Ranbir himself in an interview by Huffington Post, stating that two hours is too little time to cover the whole spectrum of anybody’s life.
On the other hand, the makers of the movie received a legal notice from gangster Abu Salem for showcasing wrong information against him. In the notice his lawyer mentioned the demand stating removal of the scenes which allegedly caused defamation to the gangster.
At the end, the film has come long way and have given hundred percent in fighting against all odds it faced before and after the release.
