Kannada actress Ragini has been detained by Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru. This is in connection with a drug case. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) raided the house of actress Ragini Dwivedi in connection with drug peddling around 6:30 am. Ragini was at home during the raid. The search procedure ended around 10:27 pm.
The CCB officials have detained the actress after over four hours of searching in her house. During the search, officials seized her mobile phones, laptops, and other valuables.
As reported by sources to DC, Ragini has been detained as she didn’t respond properly to the questions. She argued with the police officers who went to search her house. Instead of answering their questions she allegedly argued that she is not involved in drug peddling or drug abuse.
Sources added, Since she was not cooperating with police interrogating her, she has been detained. Ragini has been taken to CCB office from her house around 10:27 pm. The officials had allowed her advocates to meet Ragini around 10:22 pm.
Ragini is the first Kannada actor to be summoned by the CCB. This happened after Lankesh on August 29, alleged that actors were involved in consuming banned drugs during shooting sessions. Also, rave parties were organized by various stakeholders.
