On Tuesday, the much-awaited trailer of the action-thriller film, ‘Sanak’ was released. Vidyut Jammwal, Neha Dhupia starrer promises to be an action-packed entertainer. Directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Zee Studios and Sunshine Pictures. The film also stars Rukmini Maitra, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in the lead roles.

The movie is helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah who stated, “It is a hostage drama, a genre that has not been explored to its full potential. It would be interesting to see all the action and drama unfold in a hospital under a siege”.
The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Bengali actress, Rukmini Maitra. It will mark Neha’s first collaboration with Vidyut.
‘Sanak’ will be witnessing a digital release and will be releasing on October 15 on Disney Plus Hotstar. It’s a remake of the 2002 American film John Q. The film is set to clash with Taapsee Pannu’s ‘ sports drama film, Rashmi Rocket’ alongside Priyanshu Painyuli and Abhishek Banerjee.
