Samsung reduces Galaxy J7 duo price again, now available at Rs 12,990

Samsung has reduced the price for its Galaxy J7 duo in India again and it now comes at a price of Rs. 12,990. The smartphone was notably launched in the country in April with a price tag of Rs. 16,990 that was reduced to Rs. 13,990 earlier this month.

The smartphone has gone live on Amazon and Samsung’s online store with the new price reduction. However, Flipkart is still selling the handset at the previously dropped price of Rs. 13,990. The latest price drop has brought the Galaxy J7 Duo to the segment that has the 4GB RAM variants of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and Oppo Realme 1 with both taking on the competition with their compelling specifications.

Customers can also take the advantage on Amazon freedom sale and purchase the products using their credit or debit cards to get a 10 % instant discount on the total price of the product. The discount can only be availed by using an SBI debit or credit card. In exchange for an old phone, Amazon is also offering upto Rs. 7,515 as exchange discount. Furthermore, there are no-cost EMI options available on the online marketplace.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo specifications

The dual-SIM (Micro) Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo runs Android Oreo and features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Under the exterior, there is an octa-core Exynos 7 Series SoC that is clocked at 1.6GHz, coupled with a 4GB RAM. The dual rear camera setup of the smartphone comprises of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with a f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, the handset has an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/1.9 aperture and an LED selfie flash. The frontal sensor is also capable of recognizing faces to enable the Face Unlock feature which also offers Selfie Focus and Beauty Mode.

It has 32GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone also has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The sensors include an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, and a proximity sensor. Besides, the smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery and measures 153.5×77.2×8.2mm.
