A week after the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the premium Note smartphone from the South Korean giant will be launched in India on Wednesday. The tech giant has already confirmed that the launch event will see DJ Koh for the first time. Also, Global President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics will be present for the first time.
As speculated earlier, Samsung has decided to price Galaxy Note 9 at Rs 67,900 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version and Rs. 84,900 for the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage model. Available in three colours — Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Metallic Copper — the new Galaxy Note 9 comes with bank cashback offer of Rs 6,000, Paytm cashback of Rs 6,000, no cost EMI option and additional Samsung upgrade offer of Rs 6,000.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with an updated S Pen with Bluetooth support, powered by the 64-bit octa-core processor, larger 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The note weighs only 201 grams and measures 161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8mm. Other specifications include 6.4-inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) display with 516 PPI, 64-bit 10nm processor (octa-core with max clock speeds of 2.7GHz), 6GB/8GB RAM + 128GB/512GB of internal storage (supports expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD card) and backed by a 4000mAh battery.
The camera comes with a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel lens with f/1.5/f/2.4 aperture + 12-megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture, while the front camera is a 12-megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone runs on Samsung Experience UI which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
