Samsung has officially launched its first foldable smartphone ‘Galaxy Fold’ today at an unpacked event in San Francisco. The South Korean Tech giant celebrated its 10-year of Galaxy with its Galaxy Fold, S10 5G and more. The first three layers smartphone comes with 5.6-inch external display, and 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display and 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It has been packed with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The price of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold in India is Rs 1,42,000 approximately.
Samsung has given a hinge in the middle allowing users to open and close the phone smoothly. The Galaxy Fold will be available in four different colours. It has been powered by two batteries on the inside making it total of 4,380 mAh.
The Galaxy Fold is a 4.3-inch phone which opens up like a 7.3-inch book. This might cost you more than most of the computers as it is available at $1,980. In this phone, you can use multi-window at a time smoothly. The phone has six cameras including three rear cameras, one on the front and two on the inside. Which means that folded or unfolded you always have a camera available at your disposal.
It will be LTE and 5G enabled version and finished product. The phone will be available from April 26 in the United States and May 3 in Europe. The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy Fold is $1980 (Rs 1,42,000 approx). It is yet to be confirmed when it will be available in other regions or India.
