After recently launching a budget-friendly smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7, On October 11 Samsung has launched world’s first smartphone Galaxy A9 to have four rear cameras. The four rear camera smartphone comes after a Huawei’s triple camera setup on P20 Pro.
Samsung went ahead and launched four camera setup smartphone Galaxy A9 which can offer a total of 47 Mega Pixels.
If we talk about Galaxy A9 four lenses, its 24 MP f/1.7 main camera on the rear along with 5 MP sensor for depth effect with an aperture of f/2.2. There is an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor offering up to 120-degree viewing angle along with a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and supports up to 2X optical zoom. In total, the Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with 24MP+10MP+8MP+5MP or 47MP quad-lens rear camera.
By using all four lenses of Galaxy A9, one can obtain professional shots with Scene Optimizer. AI Scene Recognition is baked in to identify the subject and adjust settings accordingly for the best photo. With Depth Lens, you can manually manage the photos’ depth of field and focus on the subject.
Comparing Samsung Galaxy A9 to its earlier flagship Galaxy A7, this latest phone offers an additional 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2X optical zoom.
As far as the dual cameras in Android are concerned, it only offer bokeh effect, the two extra lenses in the Galaxy A9 aims to offer optical zoom and 120-degree wide-angle depth of field.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 has 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with Full HD+ resolution and it is powered by a 3,800mAh battery with support for Fast Charging.
The Galaxy A9 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and can be purchased in 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM options. Both the devices will have 128GB of internal storage and support up to 512GB microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 will be available in Black, Blue and Pink colour options in November.
