Samantha Ruth Prabhu FINALLY Responds to Dropping ‘Akkineni’ From Her Social Media

Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu changed her display name on Instagram and Twitter to simply ‘S’. Earlier, it was ‘Samantha Akkineni.’ Soon after, it sparked rumours if there is trouble in her marriage or family life. Now, in an interview, the actress responded to it. Samantha is married to actor Naga Chaitanya. He is the son of actor Nagarjuna Akkineni.

In an interview with Anupama Chopra, the ‘Family Man 2’ actress was asked about the same and she said, “I don’t want to react to any of those things. I don’t like conflicts. Like how anyone is entitled to their own opinion of things, even I’m entitled to mine.”

Further, she added: “I will respond to any controversy or a troll only when I want to talk about it, but not when people ask me.”

On the work front, Samantha is currently filming for the mythological epic love story ‘Shaakuntalam,’ which is being directed by Gunasekhar. She will be essaying the role of Shakuntala, while Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is Dushyanta. She’s also teaming up with Gunasekhar for the first time.

Apart from that, she will also be sharing screen space with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the Tamil-language romance film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’, directed by Vignesh Shivan.
