Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Father Breaks Silence On Her Divorce With Naga Chaitanya

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya have officially parted ways. Two days back, the couple shared an official statement announcing their divorce.

“To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers, and media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support,” reads Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s official statement.

Now, Samantha’s father has reacted to the news of the couple’s divorce. According to a report in News18, Joseph Prabhu said that his mind has gone blank ever since he got to know about the news of the separation of his daughter and son-in-law. Further, he said that he was hoping that things would soon get better. Calling the decision shocking, he said that he was convinced that his daughter, Samantha thought through.

Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in October 2017 after being in a relationship for many years.
