On Thursday, Rana officially got engaged to his designer girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj amid the lockdown. Samantha Akkineni and her hubby Naga Chaitanya attended the ceremony and shared a family picture from the function held that took place in Hyderabad.
Sharing the family photo on her Instagram handle, she captioned, “Thankyou for bringing us the best news of 2020 ❤️ @ranadaggubati @miheeka … here’s to your happily ever after 🎂🤗👰🤵🥂.. 📷 @tpt.toast”

In the photo, it features her husband and Rana’s cousin, actor Naga Chaitanya, Rana’s brother Abhiram and cousin Arjun, and a couple of Miheeka Bajaj’s family members. The members of the family can be seen smiling with all their hearts while posing for the camera.
A few days back Rana had given a pleasant surprise to his fans as he made his relationship status official on social media. The ‘Baahubali‘ star had shared a picture of himself with his girlfriend Miheeka. It was the caption that set social media on fire. Rana had written, “she said yes (sic).” Soon family, fans, and friends flooded his social media handle with good wishes.
Recently Rana’s father Suresh Babu also said in an interview that both the families have convened a formal meeting. It was to finalize the auspicious date for Rana and Miheeka’s engagement and marriage. He added that the families sat together at their residence to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. Rana and Miheek might have a December wedding.
On the professional front, Samantha Akkineni was last seen in Telugu remake of ’96’ titled ‘Jaanu.’ She will be next seen in Vignesh Shivn directorial ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal,’which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
