Salman Khan travelling to Odisha for Hockey World Cup
Bollywood actor Salman Khan said that he is on his way to join the Hockey World Cup which is set to begin on February 28, on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, he posted a video where he is seen saying that he is going to Odisha to watch the men’s Hockey World Cup at the Barabati Stadium.

The Hockey World Cup would see a total of 16 teams competing in the marquee event. Hosts India, currently ranked fifth in the world would take on South Africa later in the Wednesday in their campaign opener. India, who are the eight-time Olympic champions had last won the World Cup in 1975 with a 2-1 victory over Pakistan in the final. The team would be led by Manpreet Kaur in the tournament.
The 16 teams that are participating in the premier event are: India, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Spain.
