Renowned music director, Raam Laxman breathed his last on Saturday i.e May 22. The cause of his demise is said to be a heart attack. During his last moments, he was apparently at his residence in Nagpur. He was 78-year-old. Raam is known to have delivered chartbuster songs for box-office hit films. Salman Khan remembers the Maine Pyar Kiya music director and shares an emotional post on social media.
The Radhe star mourned the unfortunate demise of Raam Laxman. Recalling collaborating with the music director for a few successful projects with him, Salman Khan penned a cryptic note on his Twitter handle, “Ram Laxman, music director of my successful films like maine pyaar kiya, patthar ke phool, hum saath saath hain, hum apke hain kaun has sadly passed away. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to the bereaved family (sic).”
Apart from Salman Khan, Lata Mangeshkar who had collaborated with Raam for many songs shared an emotional post. She shared, “Mujhe abhi pata chala ki bahut guni aur lokpriya sangeetkar Ram Laxman ji (Vijay Patil) ji ka swargwas hua. Ye sunke mujhe bahut dukh hua. Wo bahut acche insaan the.Maine unke kai gaane gaaye jo bahut lokpriya hue. Main unko vinamra shraddhanjali arpan karti hun.”
For the unversed, Raam Laxman is known to have composed music for chartbuster songs such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, 100 Days including many others.
