Salman Khan Might Push ‘Radhe’ Release To Next Eid. Here’s Why
Salman Khan says release of 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' might get pushed to next Eid if the lockdown continues
Superstar Salman Khan was gearing for the release of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The much-awaited film was all set to hit theatres this Eid. But looks like the movie might get postponed once again. The reason being the rising cases of COVID-19.
Speaking about Radhe’s release during the launch of actor Kabir Bedi’s autobiography “Stories I Must Tell”, Salman Khan said, “We were going to release Radhe, we still are trying our best to release it on Eid. But if the lockdown continues, we might have to push it to next Eid. But if it opens up, (and) the cases (drop) and people do take care of themselves. (If) they wear their masks and keep their social distance, and take good care of themselves. (If they) Don’t go out, don’t break any of these laws (Covid-19 rules) that the government has put on us right now, I think this will die off really soon.”
The actor said people must ensure that state guidelines and safety protocols are strictly followed as lockdown would only mean heavy financial losses for theatre owners and daily wage workers. He added that It’s going to be a bad one like it was last year. So, everyone should take this seriously and see that we kill coronavirus and move on in our lives before it kills us all.
To curb the surge, Maharashtra is under a partial lockdown. The State Government has imposed night curfew and weekend lockdown earlier this week. The restrictions will remain in place till April 30.
