Superstar Salman Khan is known for his philanthropy. The Bharat star who has helped many in their times of need has done it once again. Reportedly the Dabangg Khan has decided to help Daily Wage Cine Workers who have been financially hit due to the 21 day lockdown period to combat coronavirus.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan has taken up the responsibility of providing essential commodities to cine workers who are financially hit due to the coronavirus lockdown.
The report further adds, Rather than restrict his contribution to helping the daily wage cine workers who are facing tough times because of the cancellation of shootings. Salman has asked all the craft Associations to ensure that every such worker-member gets his/her family’s daily requirement of food and necessities. He asked them not to get into calculations at this stage while disbursing the money and food items as he would bear the entire cost himself.
Recently, junior artist association coordinator Rajendra Lekhraj had revealed to a leading news daily that Salman Khan is the person to go to if they ever hit a rough patch.
Many other celebrities too have come forward to make their own contribution to the relief fund set up by the Producers Guild to help daily wage workers in the industry.
On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The movie is being directed by Prabhudheva and also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. Radhe will be releasing around Eid.
