Superstar Salman Khan is happy with the response to his Eid release ‘Bharat’. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial that also features Katrina Kaif is based on the backdrop of the 1947 partition era. Recently the Dabangg Khan hosted a special screening of Bharat for the veterans who witnessed the partition of 1947. The special screening was held at Mehboob studios in Mumbai.
Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan interacted with the veterans. Pictures and videos from the special screening has set the social media on fire with fans praising the team for pulling off such a gesture.
Salman Khan shared a picture of himself interacting with a few veterans who witnessed the 1947 partition and with it, he did write a heartfelt message saluting them. He wrote, “Special screening of #Bharat for the real families who experienced the events of 1947 and the partition. Honoured to meet all of them! Salute to the real #Bharat families.”
