Salman Khan — who is known for his generosity — has been making headlines once again for reportedly gifting a house of Rs 55 lakh to an internet sensation Ranu Mandal. Yes, we are talking about Ranu Mandal, whose video of singling legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai at the Ranaghat station in West Bengal, went viral on the internet.
Noticing her talent, singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya recorded her first song for his upcoming film Happy Hardy and Heer. Ranu Mandal has finally recorded her film song Teri Meri Kahani for a Bollywood film, which took the internet by storm. Notably, Himesh might be the one who made her popular but there are several ones including Salman Khan who have extended their helping hands to Ranu Mandal.
If social media reports are to be believed, Salman Khan has gifted her a luxurious house which has a value of Rs 55 lakh. Apart from this, Salman Khan has offered Ranu Mandal an opportunity to sing a song for Salman Khan’s upcoming film Dabangg 3. Notably, the official announcement of the same is yet to be made.
Ranu makes his living by singing songs at the railway station and her act was recorded by a person named Atindra Chakraborty, who shared it on social media and that immediately went viral.
Speaking about giving Ranu an opportunity in his film, Himesh revealed that ‘Father of Salman Khan’ had once advised him that whenever you see a talented person in life, never let him go and also asked him to help that person to progress with his talent.
For the unversed, Ranu appeared as a guest on Sony TV’s singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer‘, where she described her ordeal and how she sang on railway platforms to make both ends meet.
