Only two days are left for the release of Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Ahead of the film’s release, SK apologizes to the owner of the theatrical giants for expected losses owing to the pandemic outspread in India. The nation is currently dealing with the second wave of pandemic Coronavirus and thus the theaters remain shut for a while now.
On Monday i.e May 10, Salman Khan interacted with the journalists virtually, wherein he spoke about the challenging times and the film. During the conversation, he revealed that he has to release the film on OTT to fulfill his commitment to his fans. The actor had promised fans that Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will release on May 13 on the occasion of Eid. But he also apologized to the theatre owners in India, who would be suffering great losses. “I apologize to theatre owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release the film in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don’t know when things will go back to normal,” he said.
The superstar also added further that, “The box office collection of Radhe will be zero, this will be the lowest ever for a Salman Khan film. Let people be happy or sad with that. It is releasing in very few cinemas in India, overseas also the number of theatres are less than usual. So the box office collection will be very poor.”
Radhe also features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. The film directed by Prabhudeva and co-produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit. It is slated to be released on May 13.
