Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar to join hands for a film?
Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar to collaborate for a movie?
Superstar Salman Khan is gearing for the release of his period drama ‘Bharat’. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is not the only film in the Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s kitty. He also has ‘Dabangg 3’, Kick 2 and Inshallah lined up. Now as per latest reports apparently Salman is all set to collaborate with Farhan Akhtar.
As per Bollywood Life, “Farhan came over to Salman Khan’s home and they discussed a film in great length. It is not certain if Farhan will be producing or directing the project but they sounded quite enthusiastic about working together.”
As per recent reports, Farhan Akhtar was to start work on ‘Don 3’ but as Shah Rukh Khan has yet to give his nod to the said project we do not think it is happening any time soon. But if the project with Salman Khan and Farhan comes true then it will be like Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar part 2.
Salim Khan is Salman’s father and Javed Akhtar is Farhan Akhtar’s father. The duo had been one of the best jodi of Bollywood who wrote the scripts of a number of blockbusters like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Deewar’ and many more. They gave us the Angry Young man and also wrote stories with the backdrop of urban corruption and the dacoit genre.
We would love to see Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar collaborate for a future project soon.
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is prepping for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Toofan’, which is the heartfelt tale of a boxer. Salman Khan is at present busy shooting for ‘Dabangg 3’ in Film City.
