CONFIRMED: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Ropes In Alia Bhatt & Salman Khan for ‘Inshallah’

Putting all the speculations to rest the ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally roped in Alia Bhatt for his next film titled ‘Inshallah’ opposite Salman Khan. It is to be noted that Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be reuniting after a 19-year. They have earlier worked together in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.

Earlier there were reports doing the rounds on social media that for a romantic film Bhansali had approached Alia Bhatt, but there was no confirmation about the same from the ‘Raazi’ actress. Now, Alia has indeed been signed for the love story which is said to be close to  ‘Padmaavat’ director’s heart. It is to be noted that Alia was snapped outside Bhansali’s office on March 18 leaving her fans much excited.

Taking to Twitter, Alia Bhatt wrote: “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called “Inshallah” ❤#Inshallah #SLB”

Salman Khan wrote on Twitter, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.#Inshallah #SLB @aliaa08 @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial.”

Earlier, it was reported that ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor wanted Katrina Kaif to be signed opposite him for this film while SLB apparently was trying to convince Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to come on board. For the leading actress, names of Janhvi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone too were doing the rounds.

Talking about the film, Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions told DNA, “Yes, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are reuniting after 19 years for a love story. Their collaboration is the best thing that can happen in terms of story-telling,”

The film ‘Inshallah’ will go on floors after Salman Khan concludes Arbaaz Khan’s film ‘Dabangg 3’.
