Fans waiting for Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan’s Antim: The Final truth will have to wait a little longer. The film, which was originally scheduled to release in October, has been deferred owing to the coronavirus second wave that has gripped the nation once again. Though Salman had confirmed that shooting on the film is complete, the makers have opted to postpone the release.
As reported by News 18, director Sanjay Manjrekar said that they were supposed to launch the posters of the film by the end of March. But due to the present conditions, it was cancelled. He further added that the team is afraid to go ahead as they are not aware of what the future holds. The release of the film has also been pushed ahead indefinitely as Manjrekar doesn’t feel the theatres will open by October.
Antim is the remake of the Marathi hit Mulshi Pattern. The movie explores the lives of erstwhile villagers who sold their lands at lower prices only to end up destitute. The Hindi remake has Aayush Sharma playing a gangster to Salman Khan’s Sikh cop.
On the work front, after Radhe- Your Most Wanted Bhai which is much loved by fans, Salman Khan is now gearing up for ‘Tiger 3’ with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. Apart from this, he also has ‘Kick 2’, co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ with Pooja Hegde.
The superstar also has a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone starter Pathan.
