Sakshi Tanwar adopts baby girl, names her Dityaa
Television star Sakshi Tanwar has adopted a 9-month-old baby girl and named her Dityaa — another name of Goddess Lakshmi.
The film and television actress seems to be happy with this new addition to her family. Expressing her happiness Sakshi Tanwar told Times Now, “With the blessings of my parents and the support of my family and friends, I have adopted a baby girl who would soon turn 9 months old. I am extremely delighted to share my happiness with you as I welcome the bundle of joy in my life.”
The Dangal actress said, “This is undoubtedly the greatest moment of my life and I and my entire family are elated to embrace Dityaa. She is the answer to all my prayers and I feel blessed to have her in my life.”
Sakshi’s brother Rajeev Singh Tanwar confirmed the news via a tweet. He shared a photo featuring Sakshi and her daughter with the entire family.

The actress is known for her tremendous work in the television soaps, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. In 2016, she starred in the Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal. In the film Dangal Sakshi played a role of the wife of Aamir Khan, who trains his two daughters to be world-class wrestlers against social odds.
In December 2012, she made an appearance in Kaun Banega Crorepati. Sakshi will next be seen opposite Sunny Deol in ‘Mohalla Assi’.
