Mumbai: Veteran Actress Saira Banu Hospitalized, Shifted To ICU
Veteran actress Saira Banu, who lost her husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar has been hospitalized.
On Tuesday, veteran actress Saira Banu, who recently lost her husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to the hospital to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai. The actress is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
News agency ANI tweeted as: “Actor Saira Banu, wife of late veteran actor Dilip Kumar, was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai after she complained of issues related to blood pressure three days ago. She has been shifted to the ICU ward today”

On July 7, 2021, at 7.30 am, Saira Banu lost her husband Dilip Kumar. The actor’s unfortunate demise left the Indian industry in shock. He was laid to rest in a Mumbai cemetery amid full state honors on the same day. Many celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Johnny Lever, Vidya Balan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Madhur Bhandarkar, and others were spotted at his residence, to pay last respects to the legend.
Saira Banu is one of the most popular actresses in Indian film history. Banu was the third highest-paid actress in Hindi Cinema from 1963 to 1969 and the fourth highest-paid actress from 1971 to 1976. She has earned three Filmfare nominations for Best Actress: Shagird (1967), Diwana (1968), and Sagina (1974). She was married to actor Dilip Kumar in 1966.
