Saif Ali Khan Starrer Tandav Lands In Legal Trouble. BJP MLA Ram Kadam Has Filed A Complaint Against Producer Ali Abbas Zafar And Star Casts For "Insulting Hindu Gods" In The Web Series
Saif Ali Khan starrer Tandav is a political drama which featured an ensemble cast including Dimple Kapadia, Gauahar Khan, Sunil Grover and Kritika Kamra. The web series was released on OTT streaming giant and it is currently making headlines for facing legal trouble. BJP MLA Ram Kadam had filed a complaint against the makers, star cast alleging them of ‘insulting the Hindu gods’ in few scenes. Following this security outside the Saif’s house has been tightened.
As per the latest reports, BJP Ram Kadam has apparently filed the case at Ghatkopar Police station. In his complaint, he stated to the police that, “Strict against should be taken against the actor, director and producer of the web series.” On the other side, BJP MP Manoj Kotak also wrote to the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar and requested a ban on the web series.

On Sunday, Twitterati trended ‘#BanTandavNow’ and ‘#BoycottBollywood’ in the outrage for hurting the religious sentiments. Saif Ali Khan and the makers are yet to react to the outrage on the web series.
