A young Saif Ali Khan had once met legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray. On Saturday, priceless old video footage of a young Saif with his mother at an event surfaced online. It showcased a young Saif Ali Khan being introduced to the legendary filmmaker by his mother actress Sharmila Tagore. A humble Saif was seen greeting the late filmmaker with an ‘aadab’ in the video.
Late filmmaker BR Chopra can also be seen in the video which seems to be from the 1980s. The throwback video has left Fans gushing about the priceless moment between Ray and Saif. Fans also pointed out that Ibrahim Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s eldest son looks so similar to a younger version of Saif.

The video was posted on Reddit. Netizens soon commented on it with one comparing Sharmila Tagore’s actions with every typical mother. Many even compared Saif with his son Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Sharmila Tagore made her debut in Satyajit Ray’s cult classic ‘Apur Sansar’ in 1959. She next featured in Rays Devi (1960). The actress debuted in Bollywood with Kashmir Ki Kali. Saif made his Bollywood debut with Parampara. He is known for films such as Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Omkara, Race and Love Aaj Kal.
On the work front, Saif was recently seen in Bhoot Police. His upcoming projects include Bunty Aur Babli 2, Adipurush and the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Vikram Vedha.
