The makers of ‘Sadak 2’ have been creating quite an anticipation for the release of the multi-starrer for a very long time. As the makers unveils the first poster of the film, Alia Bhatt and her father, Mahesh land in trouble. As per the latest reports, a complaint has been filed against both of them for hurting the sentiments of Hindu.
As per a report in India Today, the actress and her father have been accused of hurting the sentiments of the Hindu. Apparently, because the poster of the upcoming film features image of Kailash Mansarovar. The complaint was lodged by Acharya Chandra Kishore Parashar, a resident of Sikandarpur locality of Muzaffarpur, through his advocate Sonu Kumar. Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar fixed July 8 as the next date of hearing in the case, lodged under IPC sections 295A (deliberately outraging religious feelings) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). Talking about the film, ‘Sadak 2’ is the official sequel of Mahesh Bhatt’s film, titled the same. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the key roles. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, the film will be releasing on DisneyPlusHotstar on July 24.
