Sacred Games Character Posters: Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui look intriguing

Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are back as Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde in Sacred Games season 2. The actors had won hearts with their portrayal in the digital show which streamed last year. The makers of the crime thriller had promised that the second season will be deadlier and more exciting than the first season and the teaser that was unveiled a couple of days back proved it.

Today the makers are unveiling the character posters of Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others from Sacred Games 2.

The first poster has Nawaz, who plays the role of Mumbai’s kingpin all suited up in style. The online streaming’s official Twitter page shared the character poster and wrote the famous dialogue of Ganesh Gaitonde, “Pichli baar kya bola tha Ganesh bhai ko? Aukaat!”

The second poster has Saif Ali Khan as Inspector Sartaj Singh with a bandaged hand as his thumb was chopped off by Luke Kenny’s character Malcolm Mourad in the last season.

Apart from Saif and Nawaz, ‘Sacred Games 2’ will have Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji. Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey have also joined the cast. The makers of Sacred Games 2 promise a new trail of friendship, betrayal, crime, passion, and a thrilling chase through Mumbai’s underbelly with these new characters.

The second part has been helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan. Ghaywan has replaced Vikramaditya Motwane, who is continuing as the show-runner.

As per reports, the show will be streamed by the end of July or in the first week of August this year. The makers are yet to announce the official release date for the hit show.
