Ryan Kaji — en eight year old kid belonging to the United States — has emerged as the highest paid YouTuber of 2019. Ryan Kaji runs a YouTube channel “Ryan’s World”, which has 22.9 million subscribers.
The YouTube channel Ryan’s World drops a new video on a daily basis. His one of the video titled “Huge Eggs Surprise Toys Challenge” has over 1.9 billion views as of December 2019, making it one of the 50 most viewed videos on YouTube. Notably, Ryan Kaji’s YT channel is also one of the most-subscribed 100 YouTube channels in the United States.
As per a report published by Forbes magazine, Ryan Kaji has earned over $26 million in the year 2019 through his YouTube channel. Having earned $26 million in 2019, he has become the highest-paid creator on the platform.
Notably, the title of highest YouTube paid creator of 2018 was also bagged by Ryan Kaji, whose real name is Ryan Guan. In the year 2018, Ryan Kaji earned $22 million.
The YT channel, ‘Ryan World’ was launched in 2015 by his parents, is only three years old but already has 22.9 million subscribers. The channel was initially named “Ryan ToysReview,” the channel mostly consisted of “unboxing” videos — videos of the young star opening boxes of toys and playing with them.
As of now the channel has garnered almost 35 billion views since its creation. According to Forbes, Ryan has dethroned the channel “Dude Perfect,” run by a group of friends from Texas who attempt seemingly impossible feats, such as launching basketballs into hoops from the tops of buildings or out of helicopters.
Dude Perfect has bagged second position, up from third the year before, having earned $20 million between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019.
