Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint is going to be a dad soon. His girlfriend Georgia Groome is pregnant with their first child together. The actor’s rep confirmed the news in a statement shared with Metro.co.uk.
The statement read: “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time.”
Earlier, when the couple stepped out to buy groceries, their fans saw Georgia’s baby bump.
Here are the pictures.
Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are both British actors and they started their careers as kids. Rupert rose to fame after playing Ron Weasley in all eight Harry Potter movies. He is currently seen as Daniel Glass on Sick Note and Julian Pearce on Servant. Groome appeared in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Papadopoulos & Sons, and Up the Wome among others.
The couple has been dating since 2011. In an interview with The Guardian in 2018, Grint said that he was ready to start a family. He said, “I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”
We congratulate the couple on their journey of going to be parents soon.
