Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Ajay Devgn will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in RRR. The film’s production is still in progress and it is being helmed by SS Rajamouli. Ever since the announcement of this magnum opus, there’s quite a buzz for the release. According to the latest reports, the film’s streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix and ZEE5 respectively.
Alongside releasing in Indian languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the makers of RRR are also apparently looking forward to releasing it in foreign languages to target a larger audience base. And thus the film is being made in Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions. According to the media reports, the Zee group has acquired the digital and satellite rights of RRR by paying over Rs 300 crore and the action drama will premiere in four South Indian languages on ZEE5. However, the Hindi digital premiere including other foreign language versions will be on Netflix, since this OTT platform has a big audience base for foreign languages. The digital premieres will take place only after 70-100 days of the theatrical release.
