SS Rajamouli‘s period drama RRR is one of the most awaited films. The movie features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. Here is disappointing news for fans waiting for RRR’s release on October 13. The makers have postponed the release date once again. The reason being the theatres are not fully functional as yet
The makers have shared this news through their Twitter account. The announcement mentions that the post-production of the movie will be done by October. But the release has been postponed. The makers also shared that they “cannot announce a new date” as theatres are indefinitely closed across the globe.

The decision has been taken as theatres in certain parts of the country are still closed. In other parts they are running at 50% capacity.
Earlier this year, the producers of RRR announced that Netflix and ZEE5 have acquired the streaming rights of RRR. They said that post the theatrical release of RRR. The films Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be made available on ZEE5. Netflix will stream the Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions of RRR.
RRR, is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR). They fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. The film also features Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles.
